June Fontaine : Officially Unofficial

Three pics

I’m sitting here listening to The Cars’ Dangerous Type and am thinking of the eBay auctions that I will list tonight.

As of right this second, I have some goodies that I’m hoping will be better appreciated in someone else’s closet. Being a dealfinder extraordinaire, sometimes I acquire things that I don’t use in the name of a “once in a lifetime” deal. Who am I kidding, I often acquire things that I don’t end up using.

Right now, my eBay auctions consist of a variety of clothing, shoes and accessories.

I admit that I felt very guilty about the Max Mara fur that I have listed right now. It’s not vintage and/or wasn’t given to me by anyone. Those are my official rules about fur. I’ve been given some outstandingly gorgeous VINTAGE pieces in the past that hold major significance, from the giver to the situation in which I acquired it. I’ve been in a hand-me-down situation with lovely boots with fur trim and I don’t endorse new fur. On an aesthetic tip, I do think that it looks vulgar and ostentatious half the time.

Someone is going to be absolutely delighted when they win these gorgeous Irregular Choice flats. They’ve always been just a tad too big for my already big feet and are in fabulous shape. Marked EUR 39, which I’m usually fine with, they fit more like a full 9M, possibly a small 9.5.

I’m going to be listing some other items throughout the week and am debating within myself if I should put a Stella McCartney piece or two on the auction block. I’ve also got a pair of exquisite Michael Kors sexy suede boots that might be listed this evening.

Stay tuned and I’ll update accordingly!
