Here’s the week in recap for Friday, November 20, 2009. Scratch that, now Saturday November 21st!
I’ve been watching a lot of movies lately, courtesy of Netflix streaming. The titles include: Outfoxed – Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism, Doug Stanhope – No Refunds
, The Toxic Avenger,
Eight Miles High,
Pretty Persuasion
, Penn & Teller Bullsh*t
, Hudson Hawk (Special Edition)
, Bloodrayne
, Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus
, Rising Son – The Legend of Skateboarder Christian Hosoi
, and Used Cars
. There are only a couple, maybe three, where I find myself wanting those 1.5 hours of my life back. Thank you, XBox Live and Netflix.
H&M has some great lingerie, as it’s been confirmed again with the items that I purchased today. Behold. The bra and waist cincher were $14.95 each and the thong panty was $5.95.

If there is such a thing as hell, I think that it might include khakis. All khakis. Blech. Fortunately, that box that I have pictured here was going far, far away to a place that I’ll never see ever again. Double blech.

Aren’t khakis just tragic? It’s time for all of humanity to realize that they don’t look good on ANYONE.
In other news, the Huffington Post is reporting that LED Tattoos could turn skin into screens. Here’s a link to a video about it from Philips. I’m excited and I wonder what I would project through my skin. Think of the potential litigiousness of this when artists want royalties. Corporate entities suing individuals and wanting fines for each infringement, like Coca-Cola garnishing your wages because you like Coke? That reminds me of a girl that had DC tattooed on her hand, in the font of Diet Coke. Her living homage to her favorite beverage.
The weekend finds me listing more eBay auctions. I’ve got a Nanette Lepore skirt and much more to list. Time to really clear out things that are taking up space. There will also be some packing for my trip to Portland next weekend. I’m trying to split the difference between looking good and glamorous and still keep warm. It’s no secret that the L.A. native in me is freezing as of late. There has GOT to be a better way to be comfortable with the temperature that doesn’t involve Helly Hansen thermals underneath many layers that include sweaters and coats. That will be a definite tutorial for the future, how to look great while keeping warm.
I love Christopher Walken.
Have a great weekend.
